摘要:Metalanguage has rarely been considered in clinical situations. Yet,in these situations, and especially in the context of Speech and Language Pathology, clinicians have a discourse centred on language, which is both the object of remediation and the mediating instrument. The aim of this article is to describe the forms and functions of metalinguistic productions in Speech-Language Pathology interventions with children presenting developmental language disorders. The qualitative analysis of these productions shows great heterogeneity in the forms of metalanguage moves. These moves are marked by the discourse of the other and are part of patterns of verbal action. They offer an appropriate context to develop linguistic and cognitive skills.
