摘要:Processes of heat exchange typical for surfaces of main pipelines of cold water supply systems are considered in the article.The results of the numerical experiment involving both insulated and non-insulated pipelines are also provided in the article.The results of the analyses of the principal processes typical for different water consumption rates, pipe diameters, and thermal insulation thicknesses may also be found in the article.A dynamic model describing temperature fluctuations accompanied by substantial growth/reduction of the water consumption rate within a short time period is also considered in the proposed article.The results of the analysis may be applied for the purpose of design development and maintenance of both buried and above-ground pipelines, including those connected to municipal underground sewers.
