摘要：Bibliometric research refers to the acquisition of diverse data on scientific contributions by examining the specific characteristics of documents,theses and publications.By analyzing these data,the productivity of individuals and institutions can be measured.In this paper,all postgraduate dissertations in the field of Islamic economics and finance written in Turkey have been analyzed.Based on the specific search criteria,326 master's degree and 75 doctoral theses were determined from the database of National Higher Education Council (YÖK) National Thesis Center.Our aim is to examine these theses according to their quantitative values and to draw a general map of the post-graduate theses related to the Islamic economy in our country.We tried to do this by considering the number of pages,consultants,consultant titles,author gender and other datas.21.2% of theses related to Islamic economics and finance in Turkey were written in Marmara University and ranked the first in university rankings.Istanbul University came in the second place with 9%.Sakarya University is the third with 7%.Gazi University is the fourth with 6,2% and Selçuk University is following with 3%.Prof.Dr.Ahmet Tabakoğlu is the first consultant to 8,5% of all postgraduate theses,giving 6,1% (20) of the master's theses and 18,7% (14) of the doctoral theses.Approximately 25% of 75 universities are in Istanbul.The highest number of postgraduate theses was written in 2015 with 13,4% followed by 10.4% in 2014.
