摘要：In recent years,developments in industrialization,information and technology have brought along a new change and transformation and caused the population to increase in cities. Spatial requirements for the new population in the city have increased the pressure over urban site in the city center. As the result of this pressure,urban site have been changed either radically or have lost their originality with additions. Urban sites are important in respect of providing the spatial continuity and forming the identity of the city with their unique pattern characteristic. Therefore conservation of traditional building area is on the agenda in Turkey like in the world. In this study,Ordu Urban Site that experiences a rapid urbanization and has lost its originality has been analyzed,the study covers have been made spatial analysis of urban site. Also the general speciality of layout,street form,connection of street and building,location of parcel,rates of structuring,speciality of front of 32 houses are scrutinized in the study area. The study results,recommendations have been made for providing protection by revealing spatial and traditional tissue of Ordu Urban Site..
