摘要:The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of ethical leadership and a negative employee behavior careerism on the organizational performance perceived by employees. This study also investigates the mediator effect of careerism on the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational performance perceived by employees. The sample of the study consists of 189 people working in the public or private sectors in İstanbul in Turkey. The analysis is conducted via SPSS version 23. As a result of the analysis,it was determined that the ethical leadership had a statistically significant and positive effect on all dimensions of organizational performance perceived by employees and careerism had a statistically significant and negative effect on all dimensions of organizational performance perceived by employees. Furthermore,results showed us that careerism is a negative effect partial mediator on the relationship between ethical leadership and all dimensions of organizational performance perceived by employees.
