  • 摘要:Advertisements appear in very field of our life. However,advertisement sector mostly focuses on television commercials since there is at least one television in each house and people spend a considerable amount of their civil time in front of television. In this respect,television commercials may consciously or unconsciously influence individuals positively or negatively. Because one of the significant factors for this influence is their jingles,this study is about advertisement jingles. The purpose of this study was to determine the advertisements prepared for New Year through observation and to make the musical analyses of them as well as determining the instruments,genres,songs and instrumentals used in these advertisements. To that end,the most viewed 10 channels formed the population of the study and randomly chosen 6 channels made up the sampling of the study. The duration of the study comprised December 2016. This study is a case study conducted with qualitative research and data collection techniques. As a result of the study,6 of the 23 advertisements observed were found to be technological,4 food,1 communication,3 glassware and home textile,1 transport,5 banking,2 textile and 1 furniture,with majority comprised of banking and technology sector and it was also observed that mostly instrumental music was preferred. When the observations on the musicality were evaluated,it was found out that most of the advertisement music composed was fast and exhilarating,with 13 of them to be major,8 minor, 1 mode,1 with minor start and major progress,8 adaptations,and 15 specially designed compositions..
