摘要：The article is devoted to the analyses of the process of optimal defining innovations in contemporary English and Russian academic literature.The author explains the great academic interest to the phenomenon of innovations by the statement,that they accumulate the substantial features of contemporary civilization.For instance,we could observe orientation toward future as a main value and the deflation of the value of the past and tradition as a key mechanism of its transmission.As a result,from the one side,we have huge level of expanding of information and technologies,but from the other side — deep crisis of human culture and radical reassessment of values at the level of mass consciousness and the relevant everyday social practices.
