摘要：This study ateupts to discuss the fensire policy taker by Partai Kunis Indone- sia (Indoesian Counist Party) in cultural splere, especially in film during the period of Demokrasi Terpinpin (1957-64). One of the implementation of the policy was the decision to stop the circulation of two films, Pagar Kawat Berduri and Anak Perawan di Sarang Penyamun, written by Asril Sani and Lsmnar Isnai. By analyzing vnarious writen and audio- visual sources, this stily concludes that the reason were more political. Film was not seen as a form ofart, but zwas suspected as a threat to the politial powver of the party.
