摘要：Cultural studies is a study of culture, the paradigm of wohich is quite diferent from that of the conventional (ie. modern) studies. If we accept this view, it means that the wohole problem of cultural reality, epistemology, and methodology cannol be used to understand and investigate cultural studies and multicultralisn. The infeasibility of using coventional study of culture to apprehend cutural studies and mutitutralis is related witlh the principle of incnommensurability betveen those twoo fields, so there are different worldviews and rules (languge games) between the too. This difrerence is vividly shorved in character and model of study that conceives culture as honogeneity, single identity, patterned oalues, fragmented. Cultural studies and multiculturalisn conceive culture as plurality, coplexity, constructed identity, dynannics, diversity, interaction, and something porous. In light of this worldvier, cultural studies, nnticturalisn, and gobalisn, according to my amnalysis, must be lunderstood and studied from postmodern perspective or paradign.
