摘要：The meaning of philosophy in Indonesin has become an interesting topics, espe- cially when it is related to another coincept, culture. Some Indonesian dictionary writers defined "isfat'" (philosoply) in mamy ways from dfent aspects. Howvever, the dfnitionis have not rfeced the meaning acuracy, both from the linguistic pttrn aspect and from its trminology. Besides that, the definitions, which coine from Western, invite another question. If there is Western philosophy, then zwhat about Eastern philosoplry, especially Nusantara philosoply? That question is also discussed in thris zoriting.
