摘要：In Sadoveanu’s writings one can detect a double dimension of laughter and smile, respectively. Signs of the auctorial view can be found all over the text, and they are marked by a fine smile “written” in an oriental code, and so is his characters’ laughter in various works. His characters are invested with that emblematic attitude of a healthy, plump and open-hearted individual, always ready to laugh at and comment on the world in his/her own way.
