摘要：The identification and the analysis of some labels attached to the publicist Eminescu, labels that have evolved into masks that debase the publicist’s image by blocking the access to the real essence of Eminescu’s journalistic work, represent the Ariadne’s thread in our text. The “retrograde”, “nationalist”, “xenophobe” and “antiSemite” masks are argued and taken down by references to the poet’s manuscripts and treatises. We consider that a critical reading of these “masks” that have been unfairly attached to the journalist Eminescu, underlines the dangers that may lurk in an interpretation grille which eludes the socio-historical horizon of the texts.
