摘要：The article presents the diagnostis of innovation activities in wood products and furniture industries. Huge risk and belief that R&D activities are of low efficiency in the Polish conditions as well as long duration of the process lead to relatively low level of investment of industrial enterprises in R&D. The domination of investment expenditure reflects the technological character of innovation introduced in wood and furniture industry. However, the level of innovativeness in wood industry as compared to industry in general is much lower.
