摘要：The purpose of this paper was to diagnose and compare the investment opportunities offered by selected municipalities in the Poznań district (Pobiedziska, Puszczykowo and Rokietnica) in 2009–2014. The outcomes of the three-step examination procedure are presented in three parts of this study. In the first part, the relevant literature was reviewed, the region’s investment opportunities were discussed and the scope of previous research was presented. The second step was an analysis of investment opportunities offered by the municipalities covered by this study. Two measures were used for that purpose: the synthetic indicator of investment opportunities offered by the municipality; and the synthetic indicator of socioeconomic conditions. The third part was an analytical study based on the results of a survey administered to the residents and investors in selected municipalities. The results of research allowed to identify the Rokietnica municipality as the most attractive region in terms of investment opportunities. In turn, most local entrepreneurs found the attractiveness of the Puszczykowo municipality to be relatively satisfactory. However, it did not change over the study period.
