摘要：Forestry and timber-processing industry represent a socio-economic and production potential whose unifying factor is the use of wood as a renewable natural resource. Positive development of forestry depends on sound management focused on the growing stock volume and quality at respecting non-wood-producing functions of the forest. The extended use of wood can be achieved in the first place by the close cooperation of entities engaged in forest activities with subjects of timber-processing industry. The renewable raw material of wood mass is also vitally important for the development of furniture manufacture and for pulp and paper industry.
