摘要:This paper deals with ways controlling tools are used in staff training, and especially focuses on selected companies that operate in the wood-processing industry. The paper contains a brief summary of research that was carried out by the authors. The research has focused on staff training in twenty-five companies in the Zlin region. A major portion of the article consists of an evaluation on the efficiency of staff training. The final part outlines possibilities of using the important controlling tool - reporting, which should provide management with an information service using a proposed set of indicators that are directly related to the analyzed activities of the company.
