摘要：Timber conversion in the Czech Republic has a long tradition. The paper focuses on the industrial processing branches of furniture manufacture and other processing industries. It provides an analysis of the branch's positions within the framework of manufacturing industry, selected economic indicators and finally yet importantly, conditions for competitiveness in the environment of the European Union.
