摘要：The globalization process is affected by a number of different factors, which may influence each other or be related to varying extent. In the case of wood industry, globalization may and does function in a similar way as in other branches of industry and trade. Globalization should contribute to democratic building of a country in the aspect of its economy, with proper and effective use of modern technologies. Globalisation is a particularly complex problem, but it is always aiming at internalization of production and trade and at rising the quality of offered products. Among the negative aspects of globalisation one may include the widening disparity between rich and poor countries as well as gradual disappearing of national traditions.
