摘要：This paper deals with the influence of global economic and climatic (incidental felling, insect pest atc.) changes on the wood and wood products market development in selected Central European countries. The paper evaluates the influence of the wind calamities on the price development of selected wood assortments, economic impact on wood market and wood processing capacities. The price development for the period of 2000 to June 2008 had been analyzed. The information can be used in wide context for the long term planning of wood producers, the preparation of the exploitation process, time of felling and the selection of trade partners.
