摘要:Listening skill is discussed in detail in constructivist approach based Turkish courses curriculum (6th, 7th, 8th grades) and it is hold obligatory to give place to listening texts in every theme in this curriculum. The curriculum explained the methods/techniques that can be used in the teaching process of listening texts. There are seven types of listening methods/techniques in the curriculum. These are as following: participating listening, unparticipating listening, note taking listening, emphatic listening, creative listening, selective listening, and critical listening. In the current study, firstly it is determined the type of the listening text in the 6th, 7th, 8th grades Turkish courses teacher guide book and then which methods/ techniques are used in these texts are investigated. According to findings, frequency distribution of method/technique-text type is established. In order to analyze all grades separately, two books (one book is published from Special publisher and the other book is published from Ministry) were analyzed using document analysis which is a type of qualitative research methods.
