摘要:Effect of microinstruction method on creative writing skills of ninth grade students is investigated in the present study. Pretest-posttest experimental design with control group was utilized in this study. The study group of the study conducted during 2014 – 2015 academic year included 30 9th grade students, who attended a public school in Van provincial center. Following the pretest application 15 students were included in the study group, while the remaining 15 were assigned to the control group. Applications were conducted with microinstruction principles in the study group, whereas conventional instruction method was used in the control group. Data collected via data collection tools in pretest-posttest applications were analyzed with related and unrelated samples t-test. As a result of the conducted analyses results it could be stated that the findings favored the study group where microinstruction method was implemented. In other words, microinstruction method yielded successful results in developing creative writing skills of the students when compared to conventional instruction.
