摘要:The aim of this research is to analyze the stories that 4th grade students wrote in terms of text superstructure elements. In the research, basic qualitative research design was used. The study was conducted with the participation of 15 students who were chosen, using typical situation sampling strategy and homogeneous sampling strategy. The data were obtained from the stories students had written. For the data analysis process, qualitative content analysis was used. It was found that the students experienced problems in writing the social introduction of supporting characters, naming characters, establishing a relation between setting and character and also between setting and plot, describing settings, and establishing a relation between time and character. On the other hand, it was found that the participants successfully utilized using characters, describing the setting efficiently, expressing time efficiently, starting prologue, controlling the plot, presenting the initial event in a detailed way, ending the event, and using viewpoint.
