摘要:This study, which is comprised of two parts, analyses constructivist objectives in mother tongue education furnishing justifications. The first part, serving as the introduction of the study, focuses on mother tongue education, constructivist education system, and the concept of objective and discusses the compliance of the specified objectives in the 2015 Turkish Course Curriculum with the constructivist education system. The second part of the study examines the constructivist goals that should be highlighted in mother tongue education under separate headings. In this sense, these goals are as follows: to develop the basic language skills including speaking, reading, writing and listening; to raise linguistic awareness among students towards their native language; to enable them to gain a lifelong habit of reading; to improve the vocabulary in the dimensions of sender and producer in the dimensions of depth, width, and weight as well; to enhance the communication skills of students in individual and social sense; to enable them to gain specific awareness of media literacy; to provide a cognitive environment where students can have mental flexibility and to develop their mental skills; to form a semantic information infrastructure; to present them with the works that introduce local and universal values to them. This study classifies and elaborates the objectives in the 2015 Turkish Course Curriculum (1st -8 th Grade) inline with the constructivist aspects listed above. It is necessary to achieve these objectives in a permanent and recallable way at a conscious level during undergraduate education.
