摘要:In this study, it is aimed to develop an assessment framework to assess Turkish native speakers' speaking performance based on a theoretical framework. Thus, 28 assessment scales from the relevant literature were compared in terms of their categories and accordingly a common assessment criteria were constructed. At this stage, the scales were analyzed by the deductive content analysis approach. In addition, the speaking models were analyzed focusing on the nature and the order during verbal language production. Therefore, a theoretical framework was provided on the speaking model processes, and how it takes place in addition to its components. Finally, a framework of five categories (i.e. pronunciation, fluency, linguistic competence, content, and interaction) were formed. Accordingly, this study provides an assessment framework for Turkish native speakers to evaluate the native language speaking skills.
