摘要:The aim of this study is to develop a scale to assess pre-service classroom teachers’ screen reading self-efficacy perceptions. In the study, based on relevant literature survey, an initial draft of the scale which contained 40 items was formed. Having obtained expert opinions on the initial draft, 28 items which were decided to be included in the scale was administered to 228 students in the education faculty of a state university. As a result of exploratory factor analysis, a four-factor 16- item scale which accounted for 53.07% of the total variance emerged. In the confirmatory factor analysis that followed, consistency index values were identified and the four-factor scale with 16 items was confirmed. The Cronbach-Alpha internal consistency values and test-retest reliability coefficients that were calculated in order to determine the reliability of the scale showed that the scale was reliable.
