摘要:The purpose of this research is to capture the opinions of second grade elementary school students on process-based writing approach activities. This study in which 20 second grade students participated is a qualitative one. The data of the study were collected through semistructured interviews, and the analysis of the data was conducted with content analysis. The results showed that, based on its communication dimension, the process writing approach helped the students to produce better written products, to develop positive attitudes towards writing and to feel better about themselves as writers. On the negative side, the students stated that the process of writing lasted a very long time, that they did not want to find their friends' mistakes during the editing stage, and that they were embarrassed while reading the manuscripts they had written to their friends.
