摘要:The purpose of this research is the determination of including grammar and orthography subject area in Turkish curriculum in primary schools from the Republic history until presentday. Within this study, which was carried out with analytic research method, the data was analysed with documentanalysis. There sults of therese arch indicate that, the grammar issue in the basis of subject was considered as a separatelesson in the first years of the Republic in primary school curriculum; in the years of 1948 and 1968 within the curriculum it was included as a subject and subtopic of these subjects and together with the program of 1981-1997 grammar rules were expressed as special purposes and attitudes that must be acquired by the students. Inaddition it was determined that in the curriculums of 1948, 1968, 1981 and 1997 there were detailed explanations concerning the education of grammar rulesand it was emphasized that in grammar teaching interdisciplinary approach must be utilized. On the otherh and in the Turkish curriculums of 2005, 2009, 2015 and 2017 it was determined that grammar rules were presentedto students in listening, speaking, reading and writing learning domains and explanations were included regarding these acquisitions.
