摘要:In this study, it is aimed to investigate the effect of endurance training on some liver enzyme activities in female cross-country skiing athletes. Having no health problems, 24 voluntary individuals, being 12 elite female cross-country skiing athletes in the national team with the average age 17.92±0.79, average height 165.25±5.70 cm, and average weight 55.83±6.25 kg, and 12 sedentary females with the average age 17.83±0.83 years, average height 163.83±5.49 cm, and average weight 55.58±5.32 kg participated in the study. 5 cc venous blood samples were taken while athletes and sedentaries were resting. Blood samples taken for biochemical analysis were centrifuged at 4000 rpm for 10 minutes. Later on, the analysis of serums was carried out through the autoanalyzer. The data obtained from the research was analyzed through SPSS 20.0 statistics program, and the significance level was taken as (p<0.05). Whether data showed normal distribution or not was determined through Shapiro-Wilk test. Descriptive statistics and Independent t-test of parametric tests with a significance level of α=0.05 were used for statistical analysis of the data showing normal distribution. A statistically significant increase was found in AST (Aspartate Transaminase) and LDH (Lactate Dehydrogenase) values of female athletes compared to sedentaries (p<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in ALT (Alanine Amino Transferase) and GGT values between the two groups (p>0.05). As a result of the study, it was detected that long-term endurance training causes an increase in serum AST and LDH levels of female cross-country skiing athletes, and it does not have a significant effect on ALT and GGT (Gama Glutamil Transferaz).
