摘要：This paper deals with the analysis of conditions and the determination of possibilities for creation of forest cluster in Slovakia. The analysis is based on the concept of Porter’s diamond. The main characteristics of each source of competitiveness are defined and applied for the conditions of the Slovak Republic. Additionally, the basic conditions and factors in the diamond are described in details.
