摘要：This paper is concerned with the issues of risk assessment, risk management, and risk communication in the context of risks posed by anthropogenic climate change. The particular focus of this paper is on the problems of designing and implementing risk management strategies in situations with extreme risk and uncertainty, and how to design possible solutions to such problems. For example, these problems might include those caused by the impossibility of disentangling natural from human-caused changes in the climatic system, or problems caused by only relying on best guess estimates as inputs into the decision-making process.
