摘要:The high degree of uniqueness and variability of the tasks carried out force the managers of organizations to constantly search for methods and con cepts that allow increasing the flexibility of adapting the organization to changes. One of the concepts oriented at raising the level of organization’s flexibility is a strategy which until the end of the last century was used mainly in organizations focused on generating financial results. However, the analysis of phenomena oc_x005f?curring in the immediate and distal surroundings of independent public health care institutions (SP ZOZ) allows to notice that these entities finding under public and political pressure must meet increasingly complex requirements for increasing the number of services provided, while using limited financial resources and ensuring high quality of implemented activities, which is possible to achieve by embedding their activities in the strategic space. However, it should be noted that in order for the strategy to bring the expected benefits, it is necessary to adjust the level of its advancement to internal and external conditions, which necessitates me?asuring the strategic maturity assessment. The aim of the article is to propose the organization of the strategic management process to an independent public health care institution, referring to the assumptions of the strategic scorecard, and then to propose a model for the maturity assessment of the strategic management process of SP ZOZ. Based on the analysis of the literature, a discussion was held on the importance of strategies in enterprises of medical entities and a generic model of the strategic management process based on the concept of the Strategic Scorecard was presented. The demonstrated validity of the implementation of the strategic management process in independent public healthcare institutions, as well as the purposefulness of improving the strategy raised in the study, formed the basis for proposing a model for assessing the maturity of the SPO ZOZ strategy.
