摘要：Problems that appear in a management of a conservation area are not synergistic and not harmonious among activities in each zone, or the existence of overlapping space utilization. It has a negative impact on the sustainability of the ecosystem and the environment, so it is necessary to evaluate the causes of ineffectiveness and development strategy and to seek solutions. The objectives of this research are to evaluate the effectiveness of supervision of conservation area in Menjangan Island, Bali. The method of measuring the effectiveness of supervision was carried out using a questionnaire. The results showed that the effectiveness value was 75.6 %. The effectiveness level of conservation area monitoring is calssified in the "effective" category. The most crucial variable of supervision effectiveness is plan or zone regulation and the existence of coastal and marine supervision institution.
