摘要:Mastering kanji influences some of Japanese language skills, especially writing and reading, but many students still have difficulty in mastering kanji in learning. Based on this background, it is needed a learning model that can facilitate in remembering process both how to write and read kanji. One of the learning models is cooperative learning model TGT type (Team Games Tournament) in a form of drilling in order to make kanji learning is more interesting. The main aim of this research is to find out whether there is a significant difference in learning outcomes of chuujokyuu kanji in the experimental and control group. The research method was a quantitative method with a true experimental research design. The result shows that there is different mean in learning outcomes in post-test between experimental and control group. It can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model TGT type (Team Games Tournament) has proven to be effective with a significant difference between students learning outcomes mean in experimental and control group.
