摘要：The problems in the research is how exercise interest the student's SMA Negeri in district Pemalang in following extracurricular volleyball. And the results of this study are expected to provide information to the coach about of interest, so that it can be made into consideration for coaching and training programs further increased. The population that was taken from The students of SMA Negeri in district Pemalang, retrieval Techniques respondents in this research is an area probability sampling. This technique requires a way of sampling that is base on the division of areas that exist in the population, is the 100 students SMA Negeri 1 Pemalang and 100 students SMA Negeri 1 Randudongkal. The variable in this study was men's volleyball drills students interest in extracurricular activities in SMA Negeri in district Pemalang and the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics percentage. The results showed that the interest of students in extracurricular activities men's volleyball SMA Negeri in district Pemalang entry with high categorie. A factor from the inside give the highest encouragement of 81,50%, social environmental factors of 81,44% and 81,19% of emotional factors. And of all the factors that are contributing 81,38%. A summary of this research that interests of male students on extracurricular activities in SMA Negeri in district Pemalang volleyball in high categorized. It is at present with the high interest to do activities that reached 81,38%. The author also gives suggestions for schools parties to pay more attention to training students interest towards sports activities particularly volleyball game with added facilities in volleyball in school extra-curricular activities in order to achieve the expected accomplishments.
