摘要:This research examines the coffee production in Priangan in the 19th century. The issues that will be revealed in this research are formulated in the following questions: how was the ecological condition of Priangan making it suitable for cultivating coffee crops? How to manage human resources to work on crops of coffee? How was the price of coffee both in local and international market? The answers to these questions become the goal of this research. To work on this study used method of history that includes four stages of work, i.e., heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography.
