  • 摘要:This study aims to find out how the effects of the use of e-learning on the students’ learning motivation and outcomes in mathematics of the students of SD Negeri Tahunan Yogyakarta.The research population comprised Grades IV A and IV B students of SD Negeri Tahunan Yogyakarta with a sample consisting of 66 students. This study was conducted from May to June 2012. It was a quasi experimental study employing the posttest-only control-group design. In this study, the experimental group received a special treatment while the control group learned as usual. T-test used to determine the mean difference of two group. And Trace Hotteling's T2 test to determine the effect of the use of e_x005f?learning on students' motivation and achievement. Based on the results of t-test, the students’ learning motivation shows a significance value of 0.008, which is smaller than the alpha of 5%, and the students’ learning achievement show a significance value of 0.003, which is smaller than the α of 5%, indicating there are differences in mathematics achievement and motivation of students using e?learning. Base on the result T 2 Hotteling's Trace test, shows a significance value of 0.001 or less than α of 5%, and the mean score learning achievment of those in the experimental group is 15.45 and that in the control group is 12.09 and score of the learning motivation of those in the experimental group was 74.03 and that in the control group is 70.42, indicating that learning mathematics through e?learning has positive effects on the students’ learning motivation and learning achievment in SD Negeri Tahunan Yogyakarta.
