摘要：The aim of this research is to improve the integer operation skills using the electrical charges model in the fifth grade students of SD 1 Kadipiro, Kasihan, Bantul. This research is a classroom action research of two cycles. Each cycle follows the stages in Kemmis and Taggart model including: planning, action and observation, and reflection. The criteria of success were (1) the averages of test scores increased, (2) minimum 80% students exceeded the minimum achievement criterion, and (3) the criteria of the students’ responses to learning integer were in a good category (80%). The results show that the use of the electrical charges model can improve the integer operation skill. The criteria of this research can be achieved: (1) the average of the test results are 73,6, (2) the percentage of the students who exceed the minimum achievement criterion is 91%, and (3) 100% of students responses to learning activities are in good criteria.
