  • 摘要:The aim of this article was to analyze the researcher competencies to support education policy. The basic substance of the analysis was based on the standard of researchers’ competencies of the Board of Research and Development the Ministry of Education and Culture according to Indonesia Institute of Knowledge and Science Regulation Number 04/E/2009. The result of the analysis showed that: 1) Generally, the researchers of the Board of Research and Development are not completely master their competencies based on the level of their status of researcher accordingly; 2) the results of their research did not significantly contribute to the educational policy options; and 3) the orientation of researcher’s publication tend to be self actualization for the sake of their sustainability as a researcher.
