摘要:This research aims to reveral teaching styles of novice teachers and professional teachers in teaching mathematics. This is a qualitative research using grounded theory method through observation and interviews. The population was all mathematics teachers in Klaten. The sample of research was five novice teachers and eight professional teachers sorted by using purposive sampling technique. The result shows that novice teachers use five teaching styles, while professional teachers use six teaching styles in mathematics teaching. Novice teachers have weaknesses in long-term learning planning. This makes novice teachers do not use investigation style in their learning. It can be concluded that the teaching experience makes novice teachers and professional teachers use different teaching styles.
