摘要：Education today is extremely important for the development of every country. It should prepare specialists, who are able to estimate the advantages and disadvantages of the separate regions, their economic potential on the base of the available resources, and to give the directions for future development. However, these specialists should be well prepared in different fields, most important of which regional development and geo-economics. This paper presents the 'Regional Development and Geo-economics' Degree at the University of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria, its nature and the reasons for its introduction.
