摘要：Youth as a socially active stratum of the society always uses means of selfexpression, so studying platform for young people’s self-expression is a relevant part of the research of youth social activity. Features of public organization activity towards the social impact on society are investigated by O. Bolotska, S. Ternytska, A. Kapska, H. Laktionova, O. Lisovets, V. Kosovets, N. Klimkina, L. Mischyk, Yu. Polishchuk etc. The aim of the paper is to determine the impact of public organization activities on forming youth social activity. The importance of social and educational role of public organizations is caused by the creating foundation for developing young people’s communicative and organizational skills, the first social institution of gaining experience of public and social activity. At the same time, there are different forms of public organizations, which always act as a benchmark in forming youth value orientations. Taking into account the current unstable economic, social and political conditions, objectives and activities of civic organizations have changed and become more focused on charity and volunteer help. Statistics of the number of young people in Donetsk region shows how powerful youth potential is represented in the region, but the number of existing active public organizations is insufficient, even though they have different scope. However, tendency of developing youth centres and associations is quite positive that promotes developing public civic and social activity. Analysis of public organizations and international foundations, that support them, makes it possible to identify several areas of their activity such as: anti-corruption; volunteer help to victims in ATO area, to military and internally displaced persons; development of communication between the different public regions in Ukraine, which provides cultural and educational exchange between the youth of eastern and western regions; urban development, aimed at improvement places of residence, recreation and leisure etc. National and patriotic activities plays an important part today, particularly in the eastern regions, it is aimed at forming national values, respect for language, history, culture and traditions of the Ukrainian people.
