摘要:Water, as one of the environment elements are now the most endangered and polluted, because they are most utilized. Water resources of Serbia are unevenly distributed in time and space and not in accordance with the needs and locations of the economy and population. Specific and current problems, which will be discussed in this paper work, are water quality of larger rivers, pollutions and possibilities for their use. The tendency is to emphasize the natural systems that should be protected to preserve the resources of the possible pollution and degradation, as well as those units that are very built endangered because of industrial facilities building. Majority rivers in Serbia is mostly in the third, rarely II, and sometimes advocates and class IV river water quality, each class has its specific characteristics, features and spatial distribution.
