摘要：This paper deals with the minimization of an oljective function which related 1o0 the minimization of the total material handling cost in the facilities layout problems.The propused method,"Cost Minimization",and its algorithm,based on Mathematica co- ding,are introduccd in deail and compared to the solutions of the other well- known methoxls.The resuts show that the algorithm is fficicnt,easy to run and very competitive with the other wel-known methods.
