摘要:Countering submerged targets using bistatic and multistatic sonobuoy systems is a fundamental problem in Anti-Submarine Warfare.A key question is: what is the best deployment geometry of sensors to successfully detect a submarine threat in a field of interest? The unique properties of these systems distinguish this problem from the conventional ones.This paper examines the optimum deployment strategies of bistatic sonobuoys against stationary or low speed targets.
