摘要：The aim of this paper is to present how Customs Union affects Turkey’s foreign trade in regards of all sectors which are in SITC classification.Revealed Comparative Advantage was used to measure the competitiveness.Analysis period is 1990-2005.This period was divided two sub-period as 1990-1995 and 1996-2005.Our analysis has found out two remarkable results.First,Customs Union generally hasn’t raised Turkey’s competitiveness.Second,although Customs Union has contributed positive effect on Turkey’s competitive power at some sectors,Turkey had low competitiveness at the same sectors.
