摘要：Cities have been the main part of society and administrative system throughout history.Istanbul Chamber of Industry annually determines and publishes Turkey's Top 500 and Second Top 500 industrial enterprises.In this ranking,there are 14 firms in Top 500 and 18 firms in Second Top 500 from Kayseri.The number of firms from Kayseri in these lists continuously increases in paralel to the development of Kayseri manufucturing industry except economic crise periods.The purpose of this study is to determine the economic performance of Kayseri firms among Turkeys Top 500 and Second Top 500 industrial enterprises.We analysed Kayseri firms in terms of sectoral allocation,firm size,production-based sales,value added,export and employment.
