摘要：Using the public debt as an economic policy tool or public borrowing due to the undisiplined budget increased the public debt.The increase in public debt altered the economic variables negatively.It is possible to observe this process for Turkey.Financing the budget deficit by borrowing especially after 1980s in the Turkish economy increased the domestic debt significantly.The rise in domestic debt brought economic and social problems too.The purpose of this study is to analyze the economic and social burden of the domestic debt especially after 1980 in Turkey.For this purpose,public borrowing policy to the Central Banks sources,price level,interest rates,private investments,money and financial markets and social issues are investigated.
