摘要：The paper defines,based on the definitions of icons,indexes and symbols,a conceptual framework used to look at specific case studies in order to derive the meaning of signal-constructions.Based on the analyses,the urban cultural landscape can be analyzed by looking at some landmarks that dominate it physically and based on their significance.
