摘要：The aim of this study is estimating Turkey’s oil import function after Custom Union for the periods of 1996:01- 2010:12 with cointegration analysis. Income and relative prices are taken as the determinants of import function. Since the income variable is found as I(0), the ARDL approach is applied. Long run relationship is not obtained by ARDL estimation. In the short term analysis according to Granger causality test results it is found a unidirectional relationship from income to oil imports; and bidirectional relationship from relative prices to oil imports and from oil imports to relative prices.
