摘要：In this study, tourism demands towards Turkey were analyzed by gravity models. The numbers of foreign visitors were taken considered as tourism demand towards Turkey. The variables that affecting tourism demand were identified as GDP per capita of the visitors, the distance from the visitors’ countries capital cities to Istanbul, the population and some of dummies. The effects of religious, ethnicity, politic and military relationships between Turkey and the rest of the World were included the demand function towards Turkey. The two way random effects models were regressed for each dummy. Statistically significant and theoretically expected parameters and their signs were obtained.
